Seth Resnick seeks to produce images nobody else envisions. He is stimulated by color, design, light, texture, spontaneity and gesture. His work is an exploration of a packed frame filled with layers in the form of light, texture and color. Images are not manipulated. The raw energy of the present moment is what is sought. |
“160,000 MILES OF COLOR”
One year. 160,000 miles. 13,333 miles per month. Almost 500 miles a day. A lot of miles no matter how you count them. In a lifetime - 7 trips to Antartica, 5 to Iceland, 2 to Greenland. Sojourns to Rwanda, Botswana, Tanzania, South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia. Ice, oceans, deserts, mountains, jungles. Humans, animals, everyday objects in incredibly unusual situations. Seth Resnick is a photographer in love with the color, drama and wildness that only miles of travel can witness. He is also blessed with the strength, determination and stamina to cover those miles. His images bear testimony to a passion for capturing moments that will never be repeated, to record beauty before it is forever lost, and to glorify the grand color palette that nature offers up so freely to those willing to see it. |
