Gallery 2014 is a working independent art gallery located in Delray Beach, Florida.  Gallery 2014 will provide a forum for young and emerging artists.  Gallery 2014 will exhibit quality original art from artists who might ordinarily lack access to the public. We want to provide a friendly, open and comfortable atmosphere where residents can have the opportunity to acquire quality original art at reasonable prices, and where hardworking new and undiscovered artists can realize fair value for their work.

A portion of Gallery 2014 will be allocated to studio space for its “artists-in-residence” program for selected local artists.  The gallery will also have flexible educational space for art classes, live studio sessions, lectures or seminars.  The entire gallery space will be available for selected fundraising events that benefit qualified local charities.

Programs will include regular exhibitions of student art and of up-and-coming local artists from south Florida; as well as special shows by global artists encountered on the founders' many travels.  Special attention will be given to representations of the human form, portraiture, and the depiction of people in their daily interaction with the world.  We will exhibit all visual media, including photography, drawings, paintings and sculpture.  Gallery 2014 will work with selected galleries from around the world to arrange exchange exhibitions and access to similarly price-sensible original art from new and emerging global artists.

Established by Hollywood residents Elizabeth Sanjuan and Ken Brown in 2012, Gallery 2014 is dedicated to the advancement of the arts in Hollywood, Florida and its surrounding communities.  Elizabeth and Ken have been long-time supporters of the arts in south Florida through their personal art work, museum board participations, and their donations both through their charitable foundation, Fundación Sanjuan, and as individuals.  Fundación Sanjuan, for example, has been the sponsor of tuition-assistance scholarships for low-income students at the Hollywood Art & Culture Center Summer Arts Camp since 2010, and Elizabeth and Ken have recently made a 5-year pledge to support arts education programs at the AutoNation Art Academy at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale.
