Shady Eshghi will be instructing "What's Up Wednesday" on April 19.
She will be talking about and teaching the "grid technique"' This technique is a method used to create accurate drawings from photos. Anyone with any level of skill can enjoy using this technique to create drawings and paintings with a great level of accuracy.
This technique is a "tried and true" method to create accurate drawings and is used by both skilled and amateur artists alike. Although it can't replace the skills needed to draw from observation, as workings from pictures tend to flatten out depth, nevertheless learning this technique may actually help you improve your observation skills, which in turn improve your drawings skills once you get yourself familiar with it.
